Dear Valued Readers,
In this edition of the Comer Connection, members of the Ag Hill Communications Club share stories about their experiences in the Ag Alumni Mentor Program, a spring break abroad, share details of ag week and share about the partnership of the SLE and the College of Agriculture. I hope you all enjoy these stories and look forward to those coming for the remainder of the semester!

Applying for the Ag Alumni Mentor program at the beginning of the school year allows students a chance to learn with College of Agriculture graduates of the same major and gain new experience over the school year.
Over spring break, a group of students from the College of Agriculture traveled to Thessaloniki, Greece, to attend a 10-day study abroad with Perrotis College. Dr. Yifen Wang and Dr. Wilmer Pacheco traveled with the students to help share their knowledge of the agriculture industry with students and members of Perrotis College.
It is easy to notice how intertwined alumni from the College of Agriculture are in the production of the Southeastern Livestock Expo and Rodeo. From several members on the board, to the director herself, an education in agriculture from Auburn seems to be a common theme.
To kick off Ag Week the College of Agriculture is hosting an Our Work Seminar featuring Environmental Science graduates on Monday, March 20 in Funchess Hall, Room 246, from 12pm-1pm. Box lunches will be provided to those who register to attend.
